Manvel city councilman’s work as occupational therapist changes lives

Manvel City Council member Mack Ivy enjoyed recognition for a soon-to-be published article in the journal of the American Occupational Therapy Association.

Ivy said he was honored that he was asked to co-author the statement which addresses how occupational therapists can increase the quality of life of terminal patients and help them engage in meaningful activity even at the end of life. Read more in the Manvel Reporter News…

    perfect..its a unbelievable effort. To give some relieving moments to a dying person is something great. Ivy definitely think differently. Occupational therapy has this amazing healing power. It brings joy n relaxing feel from inside. He has done a great job. AOTA should appreciate this effort hansomely..
